Bachelor/Master Students

For undergraduate students of biology or related fields we offer practical lab rotations. There is also the opportunity to complete a bachelor or master thesis in our lab under the supervision of Dr. Fabio Morellini. The theses will be experimental and based on mouse behavior in topics related to ethology, neuroscience or neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.

Medical Students

Medical students have the opportunity to work in our lab on a behavioral topic using mouse models for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases to gain their Medical Doctor (MD) degree.

Dr. Fabio Morellini supports PD Dr. Sabine Hoffmeister-Ullerich in coordinating the Graduate Program Molecular Biology ( ASMB ) of the ZMNH. He teaches Behavioral Biology and Statistics for the Graduate Program Molecular Biology ( ASMB ), for the FELASA B course ( http://www.uke.de/forschungstierhaltung/qualifikation/felasa-b-kurs.html ) of the Forschungstierhaltung and for the Graduate Program "Inflammation and Regeneration" ( http://www.uke.de/kliniken-institute/institute/experimentelle-immunologie-und-hepatologie/forschung/graduiertenkollegs/index.html ) of the SFB 841 .
