In our department several clinical studies are performed in accordance with ethical and medical guidelines, the German Pharmaceuticals Act and GCP regulations. This guarantees best treatment of our patients as well as best possible data protection.

Patients can participate in studies concerning

• Basal cell carcinoma
• Malignant melanoma
• Merkel cell carcinoma
• Atopic dermatitis
• Chronic wounds

For our out-patients this can imply additional appointments but also very intensive medical care and innovative treatment with new pharmaceuticals before their approval. Every patient who wants to participate in a clinical study has to be carefully investigated by our doctors and has to be checked concerning his suitability for participation. This investigation includes the clarification of so-called inclusion and exclusion criteria but also extensive information about the study and the different procedures.
