Opening Symposium

18th - 20th September 2024

We are very proud to announce the International Opening Symposium of our “Hamburg Center for Translational Immunology” (HCTI) directly in the center of the UKE medical campus.

Focusing on immune-mediated diseases and tissue inflammation, this international symposium covers a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from basic and translational research to in silico investigations, exploring both innate and adaptive immunity. With an expected audience of approximately 300 participants, including internationally recognized speakers and 12 representatives from the main HCTI Reseach Teams , as well as young scientists, the symposium is set to make a significant impact.

Registration

We would like to inform everyone that registration for the HCTI Symposium is officially closed.

However, if you are still interested in attending individual lectures or sessions, you are welcome to come to the venue on the day of the event. Please note that seating will be subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-Opening Symposium

18th September 2024, 9 am to 2:30 pm

Prior to the main symposium, the "HSII Pre-Opening Symposium" will also take place on September 18, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm in the new HCTI building (N25). Organized under the theme "From Students, for Students," this event is led by the 2023 class of doctoral students enrolled at the Hamburg School of Infection and Immunity (HSII) as part of the Hamburg Center for Translational Immunology (HCTI).

The pre-symposium is specifically targeted at PhD candidates, medical students, and early-career researchers. International scientists from Italy, Sweden, and Argentina have already confirmed their participation and will be presenting as speakers.
